Giving Back – Skateboards

Gordon Atlantic Development Corporation donates Gordon Atlantic Development skateboards to youth centered organizations with dedicated sports-related leadership programs, or youth centered programs that foster the development of leadership skills applicable to the workplace. Many organizations utilize these skateboards as “raffle” items to collect money to enhance the programs at hand. Organizations that meet the following criteria are welcome to submit a skateboard inquiry via facsimile to +1-212-202-5206:
  • Whether the mission is local or global in nature, the organization must be recognized as a not-for-profit organization by the government of France, Ireland, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
  • The organization must have a dedicated sports program, and preferably an extreme supports program with demonstrative success outcomes.
  • The organization must serve youth under the age of eighteen (18.)
  • The organization cannot foster, promote, or endorse hate-related activities.
  • Within New York City and London, certain youth programs dedicated to the use of English-as-a-Second Language, and those dedicated to the development of business skills for youth can also qualify.
  • Within Paris, certain youth programs dedicated to the use of French-as-a-Second Language, and those dedicated to the development of business skills for youth can also qualify.
  • Primary and secondary schools recognized as such by state, regional, or national authorities within France, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
  • Organizations that support positive social outcomes for youth in Northern Ireland.
  • Youth programs related to the United Nations.
